[Statement  here]

On July 2nd 2013, after leaving Moscow, the President of Plurinational State of Bolivia was attacked and his life put in danger when a number European countries, following orders sent by US Imperialism, violated all the international laws by refusing to allow his airplane to fly over their territory and subsequently kidnapped him.

We as a People’s Defense Front, took a position and expressed our solidarity and total support to President Morales and the people of Bolivia through a statement which was sent to Social movements towards ALBA on July 3rd.

This statement was spread all over the region by ALBA movements, and during the debate at the OAS (Organization for American States) on July 9th 2013, the Government Minister Carlos Romero, mention our movement and thanked us for our solidarity and support. (check out video at 25:42).
Solidarity is not only a piece of paper, but this shows that even a few words mean a great deal and that we’re being heard and seen by our people and our governments.
We should not feel proud, there is a lot more to do, but certainly this mention should raise our spirits and push us higher and faster to do our job…
We are proud to be a voice for our people.
